BREAKING NEWS MALI UNDER ASSIMI GOITA HAS REGAINED IT'S GLORY ON GOLD PRODUCTION SAHEL STATES ARE WINNING 🦸🏽♂️👑 Mali Secures $1.2 Billion in Mining Revenue for Early 2025 Following Sector Reforms Mali is set to receive 750 billion CFA francs (approximately $1.2 billion) in the first quarter of 2025, following major reforms in its mining sector. This development was confirmed by Finance Minister Alousseni Sanou during a presentation to the National Transition Council. The announcement comes after the government received 500 billion CFA francs in December 2024 as part of negotiations with mining companies. These financial gains are a direct result of an audit that revealed a significant revenue shortfall of 300 to 600 billion CFA francs within the sector. To address the gap, Mali's military-led government implemented a revised mining code in 2023, introducing stricter financial obligations for mining companies. These include payment of back taxes, increased dividends, and other fiscal responsibilities aimed at improving transparency and ensuring fair economic contributions from the industry. The reform is a strategic move to boost national revenue and strengthen the country’s economic foundation by holding multinational mining firms accountable for their operations in Mali. #mali #goita #assimi_goïta #AES #sAHEL #westafrica
