እ.ኤ.አ በእሁድ ሜይ 2025 የአዲስ አበባ ከተማ ከንቲባ አዳነች አበበ ናቸው። እ.ኤ.አ. በሴፕቴምበር 28, 2021 ጀምሮ የከተማዋ የመጀመሪያዋ ሴት ከንቲባ ሆነው ሲገለጡ የታሰበ ታሪካዊ አስተዋጽኦ ነበር። ከዚህ በፊት አዳነች አበበ እ.ኤ.አ. የሕግ አገልግሎት ጠቅላይ አቤቱታ እንደነበሩ እና ከዚህም በፊት ከ2018 እስከ 2020 ድረስ የገቢ ሚኒስቴር ነበሩ። አዳነች አበበ በከንቲባነት ሥልጣናቸው የከተማውን አስተዳደር በተለያዩ ቢሮዎችና ቦርድ እንዲተገናኙ ያስተባብራሉ። በአሁኑ የአዲስ አበባ ከተማ ከተባባሪ መንግስት መሪዎች የሚካተቱ አካላት እነዚህ ናቸው፦ ጅን. ጃንቲራር አባይ – የኢንዱስትሪ እድገት ቢሮ ኃላፊና የከተባበሩ ከንቲባ ትራቱ በየኔ – የስራ እና ችሎታ ቢሮ ኃላፊና የከተባበሩ ከንቲባ ዶ/ር ጀማሉ ጀመር – የህዝብ አገልግሎት እና የሰብስ ኃይል እድገት ቢሮ ልደያ ግርማ – የሰላምና ደህንነት አስተዳደር ቢሮ አብዱልቃዲር ረድዋን – የፋይናንስ ቢሮ ዶ/ር ዮሐንስ ቻላ – የጤና ቢሮ ዶ/ር ዘላለም ሙላት – የትምህርት ቢሮ ዶ/ር ሕሩት ካሳው – የባህላዊ እና የቱሪዝም ቢሮ ተክሌ በዛቢህ – የፍትሕ ቢሮ እናተለም መለስ – የኮሚዩኒኬሽን ቢሮ በላይ ደጀን – የወጣቶችና ስፖርት ቢሮ የሱፍ ኢብራሂም – የመንግስት ንብረት አስተዳደር ባለሥልጣን እነዚህ መሪዎች የከተማውን ዲፕሎማሲ፣ ልማት፣ እና የህዝብ አገልግሎት ተግባራዊ አፈፃፀም እንዲከናወኑ በአንድነት ይሠሩበታል። ____________________ _______________ As of May 2025, the current Mayor of Addis Ababa is Adanech Abebe. She has held this position since September 28, 2021, becoming the first woman to serve as mayor in the city's history. Before her tenure as mayor, Adanech Abebe served as Ethiopia's Attorney General from March to August 2020, and prior to that, as Minister of Revenue from October 2018 to March 2020. In her role as mayor, Adanech Abebe leads the Addis Ababa City Administration, overseeing various bureaus and departments responsible for the city's governance.
