Trump False accusation of white farmers genocide⚖️
2025
During a tense meeting on May 21, 2025, at the White House, former U.S. President Donald Trump confronted South African President Cyril Ramaphosa with unfounded claims of a "white genocide" occurring in South Africa. Trump presented images and videos purportedly showing mass burials of white South African farmers. However, these visuals were misrepresented and not reflective of the situation in South Africa. One of the key images Trump showcased was a screenshot from a Reuters video taken in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) in February 2025. The footage depicted humanitarian workers handling body bags following an M23 rebel assault in Goma. Trump erroneously claimed this image represented white farmers being buried in South Africa. Additionally, Trump presented a video showing rows of white crosses along a rural road, asserting they marked the graves of over a thousand white farmers. In reality, this was a memorial erected in KwaZulu-Natal in 2020 to honor Glen and Vida Rafferty, a farming couple tragically murdered on their farm. The crosses were symbolic and not indicative of mass graves . South African Police Minister Senzo Mchunu refuted Trump's claims, emphasizing that farm-related attacks affect both white and Black individuals. Data from early 2025 indicated that out of six farm-related murders between January and March, only one victim was white . President Ramaphosa responded to Trump's assertions with composure, highlighting that the majority of violent crime victims in South Africa are Black citizens. He also pointed out that prominent white South Africans, such as billionaire Johann Rupert and golfers Ernie Els and Retief Goosen, were present at the meeting, underscoring the inclusivity of South African society . The meeting, intended to strengthen U.S.-South. Africa relations, instead spotlighted the dangers of disseminating misinformation and the importance of accurate representation in international discourse. I believe after this huge mistake President Mr, Donald Trump should go out to Media confess that he was misguided by his own team, apologize to the South African President Mr, Cyril Ramaphosa and the public! ASP. That's the only way the world will understand this situation and the truth 🦸🏽♂️⚖️
